About
I’m in my final year of my master’s degree in computational science and Engineering (CSE) and graduate in Autumn 2020. I'm currently working on my Master thesis at Disney Research Zürich on the interplay of Computer Graphics, Computer Vision and Machine Learning. CSE as an interdisciplinary study has equipped me with a broad set of mathematical, computational, and numerical skills that I have applied on various complex scientific problems in Computational Chemistry, Quantum Computing, Controls, Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Vision and Computer Graphics. Furthermore, my expertise includes high performance computing (HPC) from the CPU, GPU to the world biggest clusters. I have expertise in modern C++ and Python and gathered experience in agile software development on large software projects. My prior experiences include a 6 month internship in the Vehicle Intelligence team of the joint autonomous driving project of Mercedes Benz R&D North America and Bosch (Sunnyvale, CA), an academic exchange at the University of Copenhagen (DK) as well as 5 years of working experience as a mechanical engineer and a world champion title as such. I’m interested in research related challenges in the computational field such as machine learning, computer vision, computer graphics, robotics and performance engineering but also open to contribute to other related fields. I have strong interest in software development and pushing research to the production. Looking for job opportunities and PhD positions starting in Autumn 2020.

Werner Siemens Fellowship
Issued by Swiss Study Foundation / Werner Siemens-Foundation · May 2018
In order to strengthen support to the MINT field (mathematics, information technology, natural sciences and technology), from 2016 the Swiss Study Foundation will offer fellowships to highly-talented students to follow the course of studies "Mobility – Infrastructure - Innovation". The course is strongly interdisciplinary and is to be financed by the Werner Siemens-Foundation. The course consists of 3 summer schools a year. Potential focus points of the course, such as the energy revolution, artificial intelligence, transportation networks of the future, and urban development, emphasise the great relevance of the two Foundation's MINT intiatives to the needs of society.
