About

US citizen, now with more than 20 years of experience in power electronics PCB (Altium), design, failure analysis (Thermal+WCCA), Simulation with model development (Hyperlynx, Pspice, Matlab-Simscape, Simplis),, Hands-on Lab Validation test & integration of sub-assemblies for Space and aerospace mission-critical, consumer electronics and nuclear I&C safety systems. I work 100% Remote only. No-Onsite is Non-negotiable. All on-site jobs require onsite face-to-face interview, for which all interview expenses need to paid one week in advance to prevent after-interview reimbursement scams. As Power electronics specialist. 1. Develop design of DC DC isolated/non-isolated converters, component selection and sourcing, feedback loop compensation, tolerance& stress analysis, power dissipation and thermal analysis, hold-up time, ripple current, capacitor life calculations and failure modes effects and WCCA (Worst Case Circuit Analysis). 2. Perform Power Integrity analysis involving PCB impedance, transient voltage droop, current flow and density, DC IR drop, phase margin/stability and thermal analysis of power distribution network(PDN)for multi-phase Buck/Boost converter and LDO. 3. Develop PCB layout requirements and to implement a board level power delivery design that meets all system requirements, and Design Rule Checklists (DRC) 4. Perform Power integrity validation tasks during development (EVT, DVT and PVT) phases on Power system (for PMIC, LDO & SMP, nano-power devices); Power sequencing, Transient dynamic load ripple, HIL (Hardware-In-Loop) for control feedback tuning, Linux and Python test scripts, test plan & reports, test data analysis, board bring-up. 5. Performed setup and operation of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, power supplies, DC electronic loads, data acquisition equipment, thermocouple data acquisition systems, Thermal IR cameras, thermal chambers. 6. Hands-on wire harness crimping, slicing and 0603 component soldering 7. Complete product life cycle: Capture requirements (DOORS), analysis, design, prototype, transition to production, DFM (Design For Manufacturing) obsolescence (Sustaining).
