Most of what I have done, you can see in the nice LinkedIn overview below. So instead, I'll focus on what shaped me, drives me, and my current passion, HonestDog. I'm 9 – I lose my puppy and best friend. My first experience of loss. I'm 11 – I move to the UK from Pakistan (hello culture shock), it's my 7th move. I’m 12 – I realise the cause of my puppies death (parvo vaccination) and read 100+ books on dogs with a heavy burden that I could have prevented the loss earlier. I get into reading non-fiction. I’m 14 – A loved one gets cancer, and I get into learning about health, fitness, philosophy and mortality. Being overweight, I get into lifting weights. I'm 15 – I move back to Pakistan (hello reverse culture shock). I’m 17 – I break the national record in powerlifting. I also move to Germany for university. In the last few years, I absorbed myself in the world of business and finance, gathering experiences in fast-growing start-ups, consulting, corporate, and VC (among tens of other jobs as a self-financed student - landscaping, construction, janitorial, logistics/warehousing, events etc.). I am an INTJ, passionate about self-improvement and peak performance in general (bio-hacking, longevity, strength, fasting protocols). Now, I am building HonestDog. We are revolutionising the way pets get a home, with a mission to give every pet a home for life. Get in touch at [email protected].
