Michael Lind Mortensen

As a manager in the Technology & Developer Enablement unit at Bankdata, I lead efforts to make the development experience efficient, rewarding and compliant-by-default for all our developers. I head up two teams of around 10 people within our unit, specifically our Code Delivery Tools team and our Policy Management team. Code Delivery Tools provides all the tooling and platforms needed to bring code from the first line to a deployable product. Policy Management provides decentralized authorization controls for APIs with centralized authorization management for the enterprise as a whole. In addition to my core responsibilities, I represent Bankdata on the Board of Directors for The Danish Council for Digital Security, contributing to national cybersecurity discourse and legislation. My background as a Computer Science PhD includes research in big data management, data mining, and machine learning, complemented by a robust foundation in cryptography and theoretical security fields. I excel in simplifying complex concepts and effectively communicating them to diverse audiences.
