Logistics and Supply Chain · Full-time
I was employed as a Junior Site Reliability Engineer at a logistics and supply chain company specialised in providing house and furniture moving services. Unfortunately, due to a funding decision, the SRE team was outsourced within a month of my starting, and I was accordingly laid off within my probation period.
Providing support for automated infrastructure services at Travis CI. Strapped on my scuba gear for the deepest dive into git, GitHub, gce, bash, makefiles, automation, and networking so far. Developed internal policy and process for managing online harassment scenarios, including operational, technical, legal, and privacy aspects. Planned and executed the migration of our support systems from HelpScout to Zendesk, including the workflows, search filters, ticket routing, tagging, reporting schemes, and backend email routing. Mentored our Community Manager in Project Management as he executed on the complex challenge of moving our community support from GitHub Issues to the TravisCI Discord forum.
