Associated with Stanford University I worked together with two Stanford freshman bio students. We created an app called "xema" that helps eczema patients reveal their individual triggers and prevent future flare-ups with the help of machine learning. My responsibilities included: 1) all software development (Solo-implemented iOS frontend with CocoaPods in Swift, Node.js backend deployed on GCP App Engine with data stored in MongoDB Atlas, and with recommendations provided by GCP AutoML) 2) presenting and telling the judges about the technical side of the project. We won the prize for "Best use of MongoDB Atlas" because we used Atlas cluster to store all the data about users and triggers. I configured and administered the cluster.
