Anah Lewi

As a Software Engineer at Square, I work on developing, deploying and maintaining features for the company's website and mobile app, using technologies such as React, Ruby on Rails, Swift, Objective-C, Java, SQL, noSQL, and graphQL . I also manage and improve some of the site's most popular features, such as the seller dashboard, onboarding, and location management. I have a strong academic background in Computer Science, having graduated from Wellesley College and with a BA degree. During my studies, I honed my skills in coding standards, algorithms, and full-stack web development, and applied them in various projects and internships. For example, I designed and implemented a new DNA relatives map for 23andMe, increasing its visibility and traffic on the site. I also tutored and mentored other students in Computer Science, helping them achieve better understanding and performance in their courses. I am passionate about using technology to create innovative and impactful solutions for various domains and challenges. I have been recognized for my computing-related aspirations and achievements by several awards and honors, such as the Bloomberg Affiliate Award, the SkillsUSA State Competition, and the Code2040 fellowship. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to collaborate with other talented and diverse professionals in the field.
