Ambreesh Khanna

Ambreesh Khanna is the Global Head of Professional Services for Stripe. He is responsible for implementation of Stripe's products at customers across a variety of industries, helping them accelerate their participation in the internet economy. He manages a team of professionals who bring expertise in Payments, Risk, Finance, and cutting-edge technologies to these customers. Ambreesh joined Stripe from Amazon Web Services, where he was the Director and Global Leader for the Strategic Industries in Amazon Web Services' Professional Services business. He managed a global team of 2000+ Sales and Delivery professionals covering the largest institutions in the world, with direct responsibility for $500M+ in revenue. He was also responsible for helping key industry ISVs move their applications to native SaaS. Ambreesh was hired to build the Global Financial Services Professional Services business, which he grew from $17M to $120M in 3 years. Prior to this role, Ambreesh was the Group VP and General Manager of the Oracle Financial Service Analytical Applications line of business within the Financial Services Global Business Unit of Oracle, managing a global team of 500+ Product Developers and Product Managers, 100+ Support Services personnel, and 350+ Professional Services consultants. Ambreesh came to Oracle through the Sun Microsystems acquisition as the VP for Technology and Architecture in Oracle's Financial Services Industry Business Unit, where he managed a global team of senior Financial Services architects responsible for creating solutions for Financial Services. Prior to the Oracle acquisition of Sun Microsystems, Ambreesh managed Sun's North America Financial Services Sales and was also the Global Head of the Industry, Partners and Architecture team. Ambreesh spent 13 years at Sun. He created the Global Financial Services Industry organization which was responsible for driving $3B+ in revenue. Prior to Sun, Ambreesh was a Senior Software Developer at Syncsort Inc., a company specializing in high performance systems software. Ambreesh holds two Masters Degrees in Computer Science, and a Masters Degree in Economics. He is published in the Journal of the ACM, and has written a chapter in a recently published book "Handbook of Electronic Trading". Ambreesh has been published in various newsletters and trade journals including ComputerWorld, Inside Market Data, Securities Industry News and eWeek. Ambreesh lives in New York City.
