Joined the Platform team as our main Infrastructure Engineer, where I lead the migration from Terraform and built our next generation k8s clusters on Pulumi. I ran my team’s Kubernetes infrastructure, and maintained our public helm charts, binaries and docker images. Worked for the year+ on a small team launching a new observability/monitoring tool that runs alongside our major products. Helped evolve our QA infrastructure and CI pipelines, leveraging Python, GitHub Actions and Jenkins

Shifted away from my DevOps/SRE day-to-day as an Operator, to focus on longer term product development and platform engineering. Lots more coding and planning, less hacking (which I missed) but also less late night firefighting. Working on our Query Transact product from its early days, I joined as a developer on our shared version - opening up free access to the public. Our goal was to let anyone query or transact on any blockchain, easily.

Bison Trails (Acquired by Coinbase)
Bison Trails 🦬 Blockchain Infrastructure and Nodes as a Service, powering and securing the next generation of public networks. As a Protocol Engineer I worked hands-on with 3 dozen+ blockchain protocols, my role primarily involving operating proof of stake nodes and our high throughput query-transact clusters. Joining the company in its early days, I was able to contribute across the board and wrote code pretty much everywhere - balancing ops and programming to push forward our startup's momentum.
