About

My desire to learn, build custom tools and a love for problem-solving drew me to the field of software engineering. My background in project management and technical support helps me empathize with customers’ challenges, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and deliver creative solutions tailored to customers' needs. From this foundation, I’ve come to appreciate the challenges of developing tools for people and how development decisions can make or break a product. I’m looking for a company in the Seattle area where I can bring my passion for delighting customers, solving problems, and building products for people. Some of my accomplishments include: • A certificate in Java programming from the University of Washington • Developing an onboarding process that reduced onboarding time from 20 to 7 days. • 5+ years of leadership experience. • Managing technical support and onboarding teams supporting over 500 clients. • Maintaining a yearly customer feedback satisfaction average of over 94%. I have found learning to code a fun endeavor and I am currently a Software Engineering Student in the Springboard Software Engineering track. I have built projects with: • HTML • CSS, Bootstrap • JavaScript, JQuery, Node.js, Express, React • Python, Flask • Java Hobbies include tabletop strategic gaming, gardening & growing plants, music & concerts - especially jam bands, riding my bike, and enjoying the beauty of Washington. I have three cats!
