A results-driven Power Electronics Engineer (Member, IEEE & PELS, CIGRE VDE) with 6+ years of hands-on experience in hardware design, control‐system development and real-time validation for high-power converters. ➢ End-to-end Converter Development: At TU Darmstadt’s LEA Lab, I led three BMBF-funded projects—from system concept and MATLAB/Simulink verification to FPGA/MCU implementation (Si/SiC, 10–300 kW)—serving battery storage, solar PV and wind-energy applications. ➢ Award-Winning Research & Community Engagement: Published in IEEE APEC and ECCE, served as reviewer for both conferences, and received the 2024 Best Paper Award at ECCE Europe. ➢ Advanced FPGA & Firmware Expertise: Migrated floating-point control algorithms to fixed-point RTL (Intel Cyclone-V, Xilinx Zynq-7000) and authored low-level C/C++ firmware for TI C2000 and ARM Cortex-M/A SoCs, balancing timing, resource and reliability constraints. ➢ Hardware & PCB Design: Designed and prototyped analog/digital interface boards (ADC, optical-fiber, carrier) and led schematic/layout for a 3-level T-type NPC SiC converter. ➢ Real-time HIL Simulation: Programmed Plexim RTBox2 (PLECS) and Imperix BBoard-PRO (Simulink) for Hardware‐in‐the‐Loop and Controller‐in‐the‐Loop validation, accelerating development cycles. ➢ Multi-Protocol Communication: Implemented UART, SPI, EtherCAT, TCP/IP and OPC-UA interfaces to integrate converters into wider automation ecosystems. ➢Modeling & Control: Developed and tested Sinusoidal-Filter (LC/LCL) converter models, and formulated control schemes for commercial platforms (Sinamics S120, KEBA SOTL.610).
