About
Adam is a customer-oriented program manager and technical engineer devoted to the service and satisfaction of those around him. Having turned wrenches on the shop floor side-by-side with mechanics, logged many hours breaking down inefficient procedures to discover areas of improvement, and managed the construction of multi-million dollar fulfillment centers in the US and overseas, Adam can be inserted into just about any process and immediately begin producing results. Currently, Adam is broadening his technical scope by working as a Technical Program Manager for an app development team. He is hoping to achieve an official tech conversion later this year, and to achieve an independent status for his team to go and continue delivering high-quality apps, tools, and data solutions for his organization. Equipped with both a BS and MEng degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech, Adam is eager to find new areas to apply his expertise. A lifelong student, Adam has also completed a Masters of Information Technology degree, via Virginia Tech's virtual campus, along with a pair of Graduate Certificates in Software Development and Business Analytics & Data Mining. Furthermore, he is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of South Carolina, and is pursuing a PMP certification. Adam’s career goals include learning more about the AWS space and how to run a technical team. He is currently pursuing an AWS Cloud Practitioner certificate, and will eventually obtain a Solutions Architect certificate as well. In his free time, Adam enjoys cooking, barbecuing, and bartending for friends and family, playing football and basketball, driving and working on cars, and constantly learning new things.
