Aaron Reich

Aaron is a seasoned scientist and engineer with over 9 years of experience in the software industry. He holds a BS CS from FAU and MS CS with a specialization in Machine Learning from Georgia Tech. He worked as a lead researcher in the research labs of famous AI researchers such as Prof. Diyi Yang (currently at Stanford), Prof. Srijan Kumar (currently at Georgia Tech), and Prof. Kwangsoo Yang (currently at FAU) resulting in his novel LLM information extraction work being published in ACL 2022 and his unsupervised graph machine learning work being published in conferences and journals as well. During his time with Oracle Cerner Corporation and Pionetechs, he worked as a Senior ML Engineer instrumental in the development and scaling of their HealtheHistory product (an enterprise grade medical record retrieval product serving life insurance companies such as New York Life and USAA, and legal clients). He developed the product from a prototype to a full-fledged solution serving large corporate clients, often processing thousands of orders on a daily basis. -One of his accomplishments include significantly increasing the accuracy of the outcome evaluation processes of HealtheHistory's health record retrieval automation (RPA) processes by transitioning the NLP system from a large Expert system to a LLM-based system, which significantly reduced the number of daily orders resulting in human fallbacks to Cerner Operations. At Alpine Health, he took the technology from its ideation phase to maturity, he led the R&D efforts building a state of the art AI and NLP solution in-house. He worked directly with Alpine's venture partners, High Alpha Innovation and OSF HealthCare's Innovation office. OSF HealthCare is an Alpine investor and customer, comprised of 16 hospitals. He is currently working with Disney on their GenAI & RAG systems and employed with Tavant Technologies.
