LATAM RL Engineer

About this role

Join Verita Artificial Intelligence’s engineering team to own end-to-end projects that push the frontier of AI evaluation and generative media systems. You will blend research engineering with platform development, designing novel RL environments while building full-stack, human-in-the-loop tools that power frontier AI labs. This is a high-ownership role where your work directly shapes the data infrastructure and marketplace experiences behind the next generation of generative models.

What youll do

  • Design and prototype novel RL environments, agentic systems, and evaluation harnesses.
  • Build scalable human-in-the-loop platforms, APIs, and core data infrastructure.
  • Own full-stack product surfaces including Next.js dashboards and user-facing marketplace experiences.
  • Deploy distributed experiments on Kubernetes and develop Kafka pipelines for annotator analytics.
  • Write clean, maintainable code while solving real-world scalability and reliability challenges.
  • Collaborate across research, product, and design to ship features quickly.

What Verita Artificial Intelligence is looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in reinforcement learning and research engineering.
  • Strong full-stack capabilities with comfort owning frontend and user-facing product surfaces.
  • Proficiency with Next.js, Kafka, Kubernetes, and modern API development.
  • Proven track record building scalable data infrastructure and human-in-the-loop systems.
  • Strong CS fundamentals and the ability to translate research papers into working prototypes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across engineering, research, and design.
