About this role

About TriFetch

TriFetch builds AI agents that automate the repetitive, manual workflows that slow down private practices and specialty clinics every day, including AI phone agents for appointment booking, rescheduling, and prior authorization. Their platform connects directly to how a clinic already operates and deploys a fully customized end-to-end AI solution within hours. Think Palantir for Healthcare, highly bespoke, extremely fast to deploy, and built for the real complexity of clinical environments.

TriFetch is not a research lab or a post-training data company. They are a live clinical AI product with agents already working inside real practices today. 4 live pilots with a waitlist of 10 additional clinics. $2M pre-seed raised, backed by angels, including a founder of Hippocratic AI. A lean team of 5 based in San Francisco, founded by two engineers straight out of their PhD programs, who are moving fast in one of the most underserved markets in tech.

About the Role

Trifetch is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to take new clinics from sales handoff through fully operational deployment. This is a high-ownership role where customer success metrics depend directly on your work, with bonuses tied to successful pilot conversion. The day-to-day combines deep product execution with intense client interaction: you'll go end-to-end into every workflow a practice runs, identify what Trifetch can automate, and tailor the underlying voice models, OCR models, and computer-use agents to that specific clinic. You'll meet customers weekly through their first month, debug production issues live on calls when something breaks, and stay calm with clinicians who may be asking real-time questions about patient safety. The goal is to compress integration time so dramatically that you can hop on a call right after sales close the customer and have them live within a day.

Requirements

Must-Have

Strong Python. The core daily skill.

Extreme high agency. You can take a half-known, half-unknown problem and reason your way to a correct solution by making and defending assumptions.

Excellent client-facing communication. Likable on calls, calm under pressure, can stay composed when clinicians are asking real-time questions about patient safety.

Top-school engineering pedigree. The founding team is all top-school engineers, and that's the calibration bar.

Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate for in-person work. Small relocation bonus available.
