Founded by two PhD researchers from UCLA who deeply understand healthcare AI. Early-stage with $1.9M raised and growing fast with real paying customers.

The role
As one of our first backend engineers, you will own the core services powering our voice and browser agents in production clinics. You will build reliable, low-latency systems that orchestrate agent workflows, integrate with EHRs and payer portals, and keep PHI safe. You will work directly with both founders and ship into live customer environments every week.

What you will do

• Design and build core backend services and APIs that orchestrate AI voice and browser agents
• Build integrations with EHRs, scheduling systems, and insurance/payer portals
• Own reliability, observability, and performance of agent workflows in production
• Partner directly with the founders on architecture, tradeoffs, and product direction
• Help shape engineering culture, hiring, and on-call practices as we scale

What we are looking for

• 3+ years building production backend systems, ideally in Python or TypeScript/Node
• Comfort with distributed systems, queues, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP), Postgres, and modern observability tooling
• A strong product instinct and ownership mindset, you can scope, ship, and iterate without hand-holding
• Bonus: experience with LLM agents, voice (telephony, ASR/TTS), browser automation, or healthcare/HIPAA environments

Logistics

• Remote, LATAM-based (overlap with US Pacific working hours)
• Full-time
• $70,000 to $100,000 USD, depending on experience
• Founding-team equity
• Direct access to both founders, real customers from day one
