Software Engineer

What youll do
- Work closely with customers to understand their problems and design product experiences that solve their challenges.
- Build scalable backend infrastructure to handle thousands of AI phone calls a day.
- Build intuitive user experiences that make sense in an AI-first world.
- Own high-stakes projects end-to-end, from concept through production and post-release support.
What telli is looking for
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong PostgreSQL experience.
- Experience designing scalable backend architectures and making core product and architectural decisions.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node, and Python.
- Experience with scalable async processing or real-time processing systems.
- Ability to own projects end-to-end from concept to production and post-release support.
- Strong collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams to translate problems into product experiences.
- A track record of developing a product from 0 to 1.
- Familiarity with Temporal.io, Twilio, or Modal.
- Experience building products for AI-first or communications-enabled platforms.
