About this role

The Technical Engineer at Supplyco helps build and scale the technical infrastructure powering our industrial marketplace. You’ll collaborate with the founders to create data pipelines, marketplace features, and intelligent systems that process billions in transactions. This role is central to transforming a large, aging industry with modern technology.

What youll do

  • Build and scale the technical backbone of our industrial marketplace.
  • Design data pipelines with Dagster to process information from thousands of manufacturers and distributors.
  • Implement DevOps best practices and manage infrastructure using CloudFormation and AWS.
  • Develop AI/ML integrations that power our intelligence platform and automate distribution workflows.
  • Create features across our stack: NextJS/Vercel frontend, Supabase backend, modern data infrastructure.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of projects that directly enable millions in transactions.
  • Shape technical strategy as we scale from software to full marketplace.

What Supplyco is looking for

  • Extensive full-stack production experience with a proven ability to ship rapidly.
  • True full-stack engineer capable of both backend and frontend work.
  • DevOps expertise including infrastructure as code (CloudFormation/Terraform).
  • Experience with modern web technologies (React/NextJS, TypeScript, APIs).
  • Experience with marketplace or e-commerce platforms.
  • Manufacturing, supply chain, or B2B enterprise software background.
  • Track record at top-tier organizations (e.g., FAANG, unicorn startups, Jane Street, Palantir).
  • Experience with cloud operations, monitoring, and cost optimization.
  • Exposure to AI/ML and LLM integration.
  • Previous early-stage startup experience.
  • Experience designing data pipelines with Dagster (or similar) to process data from manufacturers and distributors.
