About this role
As Sieve's first Recruiter, you will build the talent acquisition function from the ground up at an AI research lab pioneering video data understanding. You will play a central role in shaping the growth of this fast-paced, high-impact startup by bringing in exceptional talent across engineering and product operations. This is a high-ownership opportunity for someone who thrives in ambiguity and is passionate about scaling a talent-dense organization.
What youll do
- Build and establish Sieve's entire recruiting function from the ground up.
- Lead end-to-end hiring efforts across engineering and product operations.
- Proactively source and screen top-tier candidates.
- Organize and execute recruiting events to attract diverse talent.
- Drive initiatives to build a high-quality, talent-dense organization.
What Sieve is looking for
- At least 3 years of technical recruiting experience.
- Familiarity with the AI/ML/Research talent market.
- Ability to work in-person at Sieve's SF HQ.
- Experience as a founding recruiter is a plus.
- Experience with hosting recruiting events is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) is a plus.
