Join Sieve as a founding member of the operations team at an AI research lab exclusively focused on video data. You will build and scale data operations that fuel the development of high-quality training datasets for cutting-edge video applications, while helping shape the company's long-term strategy in a fast-paced, undefined environment.
What youll do
- Build and scale data operations to support engineering and customer needs.
- Forge strategic data partnerships with content owners.
- Develop creative methods to source new video data.
- Expand and manage Sieve's human workforce for data processing.
- Implement and scale human QA processes for data quality.
- Own key operational projects end to end.
- Help shape Sieve's long-term strategic direction.
What Sieve is looking for
- Strong CS fundamentals or equivalent technical background.
- Prior startup experience and ability to thrive in undefined environments.
- Excellent general problem-solving skills across technical and non-technical work.
- Willingness to work in person at Sieve's SF HQ.
- Bonus: At least 1 year of engineering experience.
- Bonus: Experience spearheading operations work at an AI lab.
- Bonus: Experience as an early hire at a startup.
