Technical Product Engineer/ Manager (Remote - US based)

Remote$170k – $200k + EquityCandidates must have existing work authorization.

About this role

Every year the world loses billions of dollars of temperature-sensitive products to a cold chain that runs on disconnected point solutions, manual compliance work, and decisions made too late. Vaccines, therapies, and biologics spoil in transit while the data that could have saved them sits in a dozen different systems.

PAXAFE built CONTXT to fix this. It is the logistics orchestration and quality compliance platform for cold chain: one system where planning, logistics, and quality teams consolidate every data source, automate release and qualification decisions, and act on prescriptive recommendations in real time. Our promise to customers is simple: every shipment, decided with confidence.

The platform also gets better with use. Every shipment CONTXT runs teaches it something, so lane models sharpen, SOPs update from reality, and the next decision starts from evidence instead of a blank form.

We're backed by Framework Venture Partners, Microsoft M12, Ubiquity Ventures, Northwestern Mutual, Greenlight Re, and others, and trusted by some of the world's largest pharmaceutical manufacturers and logistics providers.

What You'll Do

  • Own the roadmap for the core modules and our growing agent roster (Live Risk Agent and Data Summary Agent today, with lane risk, documentation, and LSP management agents next, plus custom agents customers build themselves)
  • Ship agentic features with a clear contract: agents provide context and recommendations with reasoning shown, execute only what a user delegates, and log every action for audit
  • Spend real time with customers in pharma logistics, QA, and supply chain ops, and turn their messy, regulated workflows into simple product
  • Work daily with engineering, design, data science, and ML to deliver AI features grounded in CONTXT's data and knowledge layers
  • Define what success means in concrete terms (decisions automated, hours returned, releases accelerated) and measure it

Who You Are

  • 5+ years in product management/ engineering, including 2+ building AI/ML-powered B2B SaaS
  • Fluent enough in LLMs, agents, and RAG to hold your own with ML engineers, and disciplined enough to avoid shipping AI for its own sake
  • A simplifier who shrinks scope, ships, and iterates
  • Customer-obsessed, with shipped products you're genuinely proud of
  • Experience in cold chain, pharma logistics, or GxP-regulated products is a plus

Why You'll Love It

  • The mission has real stakes. Your product decides whether vaccines and therapies arrive usable.
  • The AI work is real. Agents making regulated, auditable decisions in production, not demo-ware.
  • You'll have ownership, with a direct line to the exec team and Fortune 500 customers.
  • The stack is current and cutting-edge: Python, Node.js, and React on Supabase (PostgreSQL) and Azure Kubernetes (managed via Porter), with Claude and Cursor in the development loop, Statsig for feature gates, and Linear for tracking.
  • Competitive salary, equity, five weeks PTO, and full healthcare.
