About this role

Paradigm Robotics is seeking a Commercial Lead to accelerate founder-led sales and own high-leverage partnerships, pilots, and customer relationships. You’ll work closely with the CEO to identify opportunities, lead strategic accounts, and shape how we scale go-to-market across private industry, municipal agencies, and defense sectors. This is a foundational commercial hire with increasing autonomy as the company grows.

What youll do

  • Co-own top- and mid-funnel sales motions with the CEO.
  • Lead discovery, outreach, and field demos across industrial, municipal, and defense customers.
  • Manage early accounts and support pilots, deployments, and renewals.
  • Convert early wins into multi-site, multi-year agreements and long-term relationships.
  • Track touch-points and progress in CRM (HubSpot/Notion).
  • Use tools like Clay, Hunter, Apollo to build and source leads.
  • Build and manage relationships with municipal fire & police departments, distribution partners, and defense integrators.
  • Conduct market research and develop tailored value propositions based on buyer priorities and technical fit.
  • Identify champions, influencers, and decision makers across organizations.
  • Write proposals for RFPs, RFIs, and government grants.
  • Research government/end-user needs by engaging with program managers and end-users.
  • Improve GTM workflows: CRM structure, playbooks, partner docs, pricing models.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and ops to translate customer needs into product priorities.
  • Coordinate logistics for trade shows, pilots, and demo events.
  • Contribute to product-market fit iterations and segment prioritization.
  • Partner with CEO on GTM strategy and long-term direction.

What Paradigm Robotics is looking for

  • Proven track record selling to private industry, municipal agencies, and defense programs with experience managing long, multi-pilot sales cycles.
  • Ability to build, manage, and scale partnerships and channel programs (alliances, integrators, and strategic partners) to accelerate revenue.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and ability to design and optimize CRM workflows, pipelines, and sales collateral.
  • Experience leading pilots, field trials, deployments, and navigating procurement/contracting processes to close multi-stakeholder deals.
  • 5+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience driving go-to-market initiatives for complex solutions in robotics or industrial sectors.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with the CEO, product, engineering, and customer success teams; comfortable translating customer needs into product priorities.
