Member of Commercial Staff

This role is for a versatile operator on Nomos' commercial team who will tackle complex, cross-functional challenges as the company scales its full‑stack energy retail business. You’ll work closely with founders and teammates in Berlin Mitte to create durable systems across finance, legal, recruiting, customer support and partner management. The work matters because strong commercial infrastructure directly enables growth and customer trust in a regulated industry.

What you'll do

• Tackle varied commercial challenges across finance, legal, recruiting, customer support and partner management as Nomos grows.
• Own problems end-to-end, from scoping through execution, and deliver work you’re proud of.
• Shift scope and priorities as the business evolves, adapting to what matters most over time.
• Help shape operating practices and processes alongside your core responsibilities.
• Contribute to a culture of effective communication, ownership and craftsmanship while working in-person in Berlin Mitte.

What Nomos is looking for

• 2+ years proven performance in a high‑performance environment such as a high‑growth startup, consulting, investment banking, professional sports, or high‑end hospitality.
• Versatile background — banking, legal, operations, partnerships, or other domains where you can add commercial leverage.
• Rapid learner who can go from novice to effective in days by talking to experts, thinking from first principles, and executing with conviction.
• Strong interpersonal style: kind and engaging but able to push for results when necessary.
• Proactive owner who notices and fixes broken processes without waiting for permission.
• German fluency (C1+) is required.
