Accounting Manager

Musely is hiring an Accounting Manager to join the Finance team and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and scalability of financial operations as the company grows. This role is critical for maintaining strong controls and supporting complex operations across eCommerce, inventory, and healthcare-related activities.

What you'll do

• Lead and own the month-end close process, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Oversee core accounting functions such as revenue recognition, inventory, intercompany, payroll, AP/AR, and fixed assets.
• Review and manage the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages.
• Perform balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analyses to deliver actionable business insights.
• Manage treasury activities including cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity optimization.
• Partner with Supply Chain to improve inventory controls, reporting, and forecasting, including cycle counts and inventory turns.
• Develop and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation to support scale.
• Manage, mentor, and develop staff accountants to foster a high-performance team.
• Support external audits and readiness for public reporting requirements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive accountability, transparency, and operational efficiency.

What Musely is looking for

• Strong accounting fundamentals with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting, with 2–3 years in a manager role.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles.
• Experience working with ERP systems and strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Background in eCommerce, healthcare, telemedicine, or inventory-based businesses is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage complex accounting operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally and managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
