Full-Stack Engineer
About this role
Mercura is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to build AI systems end-to-end. This fast-paced, hands-on role requires high agency, technical depth, and a founder mindset to ship complex web applications. You’ll join a product-focused team delivering scalable, AI-powered software.
What youll do
- Own the architecture and design of AI systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers across the full stack.
- Build data pipelines to process large-scale unstructured data efficiently.
- Deploy and manage software in cloud environments.
- Make our backend scalable, stable and efficient.
- Develop scalable and reusable components and API structures.
- Write clean and maintainable code with sensible testing.
What Mercura is looking for
- Proficiency in building end-to-end AI-powered web applications using Next.js/React on the frontend and Python on the backend.
- Demonstrated product-minded mindset with a track record of shipping complex web applications.
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern CI/CD practices.
- Hands-on experience with ML/NLP technologies, including embeddings, vector databases, and RLHF, and deploying ML components in production.
- Experience with ML model serving and inference pipelines in production environments.
- Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
