Founder’s Associate / GTM Intern

About the role

Mercura is building AI software for the backbone of our economy. We are one of the fastest growing companies from YC’s W25 batch and raised a heavily oversubscribed round at one of the highest valuations in our cohort. After surpassing $1M in ARR in under a year, we are looking for team members ready to go all-in to help us reach our next milestone: $10M ARR by the end of 2026. One of our co-founders, Lukas, grew up in a trades family that has been active in the construction industry for over 115 years. Having worked on the construction site himself, he learned first-hand how slow and manual quoting still is in the industry. In an era where AI becomes ubiquitous, we set out on a deeply personal mission: bring AI to the backbone of our economy - to the companies that keep our world running.

What you will be working on

Work side-by-side with the founders on high-priority, high-impact tasks

Reach out to customers, generate leads and grow our customer base

Work closely and communicate with customers on a daily basis

Collaborate across product, customer success, and commercial

Translate your customer insights into new features and prototypes

Drive recruiting and onboarding of a stellar core team

Build the company foundations: set up infrastructure and core operational processes

What we're looking for

You’re outgoing , energetic , and confident in engaging with new people

You are highly entrepreneurial and take full ownership of diverse tasks, from customer calls to operations, with the same level of diligence and passion

You’re ambitious, resilient and willing to work hard in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment

You’re adaptable and can switch between strategic thinking and operational execution seamlessly

You’re a strong team player while you also proactively step up to lead initiatives when needed

You have first experience in high-growth environment (e.g. startup, consulting)

You want to work in-person in Munich with a higher intensity than in a 9-5 job

You’re fluent in German & English

Interview Process

Step 1: Intro call - Casual intro meeting with one of the founders to get to know each other and introduce Mercura.

Step 2: Take home challenge & role play - A take-home challenge to showcase your skills, followed by a call to walk us through your approach, insights, and solution for the take-home exercise. The call will also include a brief role play in which we simulate the interaction with a customer. (We compensate you with €50 if we ask you to complete a take-home challenge.)

Step 3: Personal Fit - Meet another co-founder to get a feel for our culture and working style.

Step 4: Offer - If we see a great fit, you will get an offer, including a competitive compensation package.
