Platform Engineer
About this role
Langdock is seeking a Platform Engineer to help build and maintain the backbone of our enterprise AI platform. This full-time, on-site role in Berlin drives deployment, automation, and secure operations across customer cloud environments, partnering with customer IT teams to enable scalable AI deployments.
What youll do
- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment
- Deploy and maintain our platform across multiple customer cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure, OpenShift)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)
- Monitor and optimize application performance and infrastructure costs
- Ensure security and compliance across different cloud environments
- Collaborate with Product Engineers to support new feature deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Document deployment processes and maintain runbooks for different environments
What Langdock is looking for
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Experience deploying and operating an enterprise platform across Azure, AWS, GCP, and OpenShift
- Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis in production environments
- Native-level German or B2 proficiency for customer communications
- Strong collaboration and communication with customer IT teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Azure Container Apps, and GitHub Actions
- Experience solving platform-level issues and handling tasks similar to a platform engineer
- Strong CS fundamentals and the ability to implement security best practices to ensure platform reliability in cloud deployments
