What you'll do

  • Backend Development: You'll be building product features end to end - domain models, business logic and API integrations that make our product just work for customers
  • Deployment & Iteration: We practice a dynamic, data-driven approach to product development. As an product engineer at Grid, you'll build towards bold milestones in well-engineered, incremental releases
  • Data Analysis: As a data-driven product, we have robust data pipelines and analytics infrastructure. To be successful at Grid, you'll utilize SQL and other analysis tools to evaluate product and system performance regularly
  • Debugging Evented Systems: Grid's backend makes heavy use of pubsub. Testing and debugging complex state machines, in order to create a seamless experience for all users is key
  • Shipping to Production: You'll have access to a rapid CI/CD process that enables you to ship to production on the daily. As an engineer, you'll own your implementations end to end and respond to production incidents as needed
