Over de functie

Als Taxateur Sieraden & Edele Metalen in onze 'Gold Room' speel je een sleutelrol bij het beoordelen, sorteren en verkoopklaar maken van exclusieve sieraden en edelmetalen voor onze veilingen.

Deze functie is ideaal voor iemand met ervaring in de juweliersbranche, een achtergrond als goudsmid, of professionals met expertise in high-end sieraden en veiling processen die hun kennis van de luxe- en vintagemarkt willen uitbreiden. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het demonteren van sieraden, het identificeren en catalogiseren van waardevolle stukken, en het nauwkeurig documenteren van de voorraad voor de veiling.

  • Nieuwe technieken beheersen: Ontwikkel expertise in XRF-testen (röntgenfluorescentie) en het vaststellen van de zuiverheid van metalen.
  • Het vak leren: Krijg het demonteren van sieraden en het zorgvuldig verwijderen van edelstenen volledig onder de knie.
  • Zelfverzekerd testen: Identificeer en test zelfstandig het gehalte van goud, exclusieve sieraden en andere metalen.
  • Kwaliteitscontrole: Assisteer bij de kwaliteitscontrole van edelmetalen voor een veilige en correcte verwerking.

  • Draag actief bij aan de administratie, procesoptimalisatie en de veiling voorbereiding van exclusieve sieraden.
  • Beheer zelfstandig je eigen werkdruk en stel de juiste prioriteiten.
  • Werk samen met het team aan de afdelings-KPI's en draag proactief verbeterpunten aan.


Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

  • Het nauwkeurig beoordelen en catalogiseren van hoogwaardige sieraden, met een scherp oog voor antieke, unieke en verzamelwaardige stukken.
  • Het sorteren en demonteren van sieraden tot oud goud (smeltgoud), waarbij edelstenen en niet-gouden onderdelen zorgvuldig worden gescheiden.
  • Het bepalen van het goudgehalte (karat) en de zuiverheid van metalen via visuele inspectie en XRF-testen (hiervoor reiken we je de juiste training aan).
  • Het nauwkeurig wegen en voorbereiden van edelmetalen voor veilige opslag, met strikte naleving van de veiligheidsprotocollen.
  • Het uitvoeren van kwaliteitscontroles om de juistheid van gegevens en de veiligheidsnormen te waarborgen.



Vaardigheden, kennis en expertise

  • Relevante ervaring in de juweliersbranche, als goudsmid, of ervaring met exclusieve sieraden en veiling processen is een harde plus.
  • Brede kennis van vintage, antieke en exclusieve sieraden, inclusief keurmerken en goudgehaltes.
  • Uitzonderlijk oog voor detail en het vermogen om uiterst discreet en zorgvuldig met waardevolle goederen om te gaan.
  • Je werkt nauwkeurig met cijfers, gewichten en Excel-systemen.
  • Ervaring met veiligheidsprotocollen rondom hoogwaardige voorraden is een pré.
