Your key responsibilities as a Senior Regulatory Calculations Specialist will include:
- Own and maintain regulatory calculation methodologies, technical specifications, and documentation across multiple regulatory frameworks.
- Lead the development, testing, validation, and sign-off of regulatory calculations, ensuring outputs are accurate, traceable, and auditable.
- Manage quality assurance, exception handling, validation rules, and reconciliation processes to maintain calculation accuracy at scale.
- Lead the technical assessment and methodology review of the Alpha Omega calculation engine and support its target-state implementation on Nexus.
- Partner with engineering, data, and regulatory teams to ensure successful implementation of calculation logic and methodology updates.
- Monitor regulatory developments and translate changes into clear, documented methodologies ready for implementation
You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Senior Regulatory Calculations Specialist:
- You must have at least 3 years' experience in regulatory fund calculations, including PRIIPs transaction costs, SRI scoring, and performance scenarios.
- You must have strong working knowledge of PRIIPs and SFDR, along with experience in producing detailed calculation specifications and methodology documentation.
- You will possess strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret regulatory publications and convert them into clear methodology decisions.
- You will have advanced Excel skills and the aptitude to work with analytical tools such as Python, SQL, or equivalent technologies.
- You will be able to work effectively with engineering and data teams, translating complex methodology requirements into technical solutions.
