ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking motivated and innovative application software developers to support the development of modern software solutions for manufacturing and business applications. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting scalable applications, APIs, and services while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams. Candidates with strong software engineering fundamentals and an interest in data-driven applications are encouraged to apply

• Develop and enhance application software, APIs, and microservices using modern programming languages and frameworks
• Write automated tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to support reliable software delivery
• Troubleshoot software defects and performance issues using debugging and monitoring tools
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation including design documents and API references
• Support applications that process, integrate, or utilize operational and analytical data

This position is part of our Early Career program at WD. Our Early Career program is designed to support individuals beginning their professional career by providing the foundational training through a structured onboarding, mentorship, and development curriculum.

REQUIRED:

We warmly welcome fresh graduates, and Early Career Talent with 0–2 years of experience are encouraged to apply.

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 0–2 years of experience or relevant academic/project experience
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software design principles
• Experience with programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python
• Familiarity with APIs, databases, software testing, and CI/CD concepts
• Basic understanding of data processing or data-driven applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Passion for learning new technologies and engineering practices

PREFERRED:

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, container technologies, or DevOps tools
• Exposure to Agile software development practices
• Understanding of analytics, manufacturing systems, or enterprise applications is a plus
