Our internationally recognized surgeons are board certified and fellowship trained, specializing in all areas of eye care. Using top of the line equipment and advanced technologies, our world-class team of eye surgeons focus on LASIK, Laser Cataract Surgery with Lifestyle Lenses, Dry Eye Disease, Diabetic Eye Disease, Glaucoma and many other vision correction procedures and treatments. We have 18 providers and 200 employees sharing a centrally located, modern 34,000-square-foot facility near the Norfolk airport with seven operating rooms, six lasers, over 70 examination rooms, and three satellite offices in Hampton, Suffolk and Virginia Beach. We are one of the fastest growing ophthalmology practices in the nation. Our management team is led by CEO Karen Spencer, M.A. Our president is John D. Sheppard, M.D., M.M.Sc.and our vice president is Stephen V. Scoper, M.D.
