Troy Design Manufacturing Company is hiring for three on-site positions: * **MP&L Coordinator:** The MP&L Coordinator will be based at the Chicago Modification Center. Responsibilities include working with FCSD (Ford Customer Service Department) programs, maintaining SNC Alert and Shortage monitors, producing a weekly FCSD schedule, analyzing FCSD JIT & Forecast releases, and managing shipping and receiving tasks. The position also involves monitoring Ford eDDL production screens, coordinating freight shipping, preparing documentation, and maintaining records. Additional responsibilities include inputting receiving documents, tracking NCPRs, entering data for supplier returns, completing scrap sheets, assisting in plant inventory, and managing supplier schedules. The role requires experience in a clerical Shipping/Receiving/Purchasing work environment, strong time management skills, data entry abilities, experience with MRP systems, effective communication, problem-solving skills, and advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge. The role requires the candidate to be available to work weekends, holidays, extended shifts, and shutdowns when required. * **Tool & Die Supervisor:** The Tool & Die Supervisor role involves overseeing tool and die operations to support high-quality production of powertrain components. Key responsibilities include supervising tool and die makers, overseeing maintenance and repair of dies, ensuring tooling meets automotive standards, scheduling toolroom work, troubleshooting die issues, training team members, managing spare parts inventory, implementing continuous improvement projects, and ensuring safety compliance. Applicants should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in tool and die work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. A high school diploma or GED is required. * **Tech Support Spec 2:** This on-site position involves diagnosing and resolving technical and end-user problems in a customer-service-oriented environment. The Tech Support Spec 2 will install, maintain, and support software, hardware, and peripherals on local and wide area networks and provide administrative support. The position will be on the afternoon shift. The duties and responsibilities include responding to technical support requests, logging and tracking issues, deploying and testing computer hardware and software, monitoring and executing data transmittals, and tracking departmental assets. Applicants require 1-2 years of college coursework in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or the equivalent, with 5 years of hands-on experience. Superior working knowledge of Windows O/S and Microsoft business applications. Good understanding of networking fundamentals, and computer hardware and peripherals. Formal training in Windows O/S Administration. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
