The Game Programmer Intern will collaborate with programmers and designers to prototype, iterate, and implement game features. Primary responsibilities include gameplay programming. The hourly rate is $20.00, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. To be eligible, applicants must be current students at an Ontario college or University, physically located in Ontario, and legally eligible to work in Ontario. This remote position is a paid, four-month internship for the summer of 2026 (approximately May to August). The Prop Artist Intern will produce photorealistic assets and environments for projects and work with the environment art design team. The hourly rate is $18.00, with a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week. To be eligible, applicants must be current students at an Ontario college or University, physically located in Ontario, and legally eligible to work in Ontario. The roles require experience in the following technologies: * **Concept Artist Intern:** Concept Art, 2D Art, 3D Software, Digital Painting, Traditional Drawing, Art Principles, Game Development, Character Design, Environment Design, Props Design. * **Game Programmer Intern:** C++, Gameplay Programming. * **Prop Artist Intern:** 3D Art, Environment Art, Character Art, Prop Art, Game Development, Maya, 3Ds Max, Blender, Z Brush, Adobe Substance Suite, Unreal Engine 4, Unreal Engine 5. Torn Banner offers a variety of work arrangements for the internship positions. The Concept Artist Intern and Prop Artist Intern roles are fully remote. The Game Programmer Intern is a hybrid position. The hybrid and remote roles can be carried out from within Ontario.
