The Airway Dentists currently has three open positions. * **Dental Assistant - Bee Cave:** This is a full-time, on-site position. The responsibilities include taking ownership of back-office duties and systems, taking and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs, assisting the dentist during pre-operative and operative procedures, scanning patients for procedures using Itero scanner, pre- and post-op work, crowns and bridges, preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments, providing post-operative instructions to patients, following up with patients, understanding each phase of Airway, Invisalign, and general dentistry treatments, placing temporary crowns, attachments, buttons, and fixed expanders, and creating, managing, coordinating, and following up with online scheduling, consults, and virtual appointments. Duties also include cleaning suction traps, running cleaners in equipment, and ordering supplies. Candidates with at least 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant are preferred. Invisalign experience is also preferred. State License and CPR certification are required. The salary range is $20 - $27 USD per hour. * **Practice Administrator - Bee Cave:** This is a full-time, on-site role. The Practice Administrator will manage daily office operations including scheduling and patient flow, communicate with patients via phone, text, email, and in-person, present treatment plans, optimize schedules, verify insurance, arrange financing, and process payments, follow up with patients, relay patient concerns to the clinical team, represent the office at patient education dinners, community events, and meetings with allied health professionals, and interact with the central team and other Patient Care Coordinators in person and over Slack. The salary range is $20 - $27 USD per hour. * **Dental Hygienist - Bee Cave:** The Airway Dentists is hiring for a part-time, on-site Registered Dental Hygienist. The responsibilities will include conducting thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments, educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care techniques, performing and analyzing dental X-rays, and collaborating with the dental team to provide comprehensive care. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Dental Hygiene program and possess a current TX Dental Hygiene license. Experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. The Airway Dentists utilizes various technologies. The Dental Assistant role involves using Dental Assistant technology, patient care, communication skills, organizational skills, teamwork, Invisalign, radiographs, sterilization, patient follow-up, time management, attention to detail, problem-solving, technical skills, self-starting, dependability, and a positive attitude.
