The Lab Tech will also perform phlebotomy and other specimen collections, report test results, ensure quality control, maintain equipment, enter lab reports into patient records, notify patients of results, and order supplies. Lab training or equivalent experience is preferred. Basic Life Support certification is required. A high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service setting, preferably 1 year of receptionist experience in a healthcare setting, are required.
