Essential job functions include ensuring the process operates in accordance with defined standards, following set production schedules, and in-process inspection using Mics, Calipers, Indicators, Mahr systems, and Air Gauges. Other duties include tool changes, tool setting, tool wear offsets, deburring, operating multiple machines, and housekeeping. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older, meet ITAR, and GCA requirements. Candidates should possess a positive attitude, willingness to learn, adapt to change, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. The role includes a $5.00 shift differential. * **CNC Lathe Setup Lead:** This full-time, hourly position on the first shift (Monday-Thursday, 6 AM to 5 PM) involves setting up and operating all types of CNC lathes. Responsibilities include ensuring peak process efficiency and quality, following setup schedules, maintaining quality systems via ISO standard practices, tool changes, supporting operators, new and existing job tooling setup, indicating vises and fixtures, loading programs, running first article pieces and performing first-piece inspections, and training other operators. Candidates must be 18 years of age or older and meet ITAR and GCA requirements. Preferred qualifications include 2-4 years of CNC Machining experience, knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, and detailed knowledge of machining processes. Experience with programming CNC lathes manually and using CAM software (MasterCAM preferred) is a plus. The position requires the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
