Metalegal Advocates is seeking qualified professionals for the following positions: * **Associate (Taxation) - Fresher:** This on-site role is for freshly qualified Chartered Accountants and Advocates seeking structured exposure to litigation, advisory work, and regulatory practice. Key responsibilities include assisting senior associates and partners in Income Tax, GST, and Customs matters; supporting the preparation of appeals, replies, submissions, and case files; conducting tax research and analysis; handling documentation and filings; and working on compliance reviews and client documentation. Requirements include being a qualified Advocate (LL.B.) or Chartered Accountant, a strong academic foundation in Direct Tax and GST, and a basic understanding of litigation workflow. * **Associate | Taxation (2-3 years PQE):** This on-site position is for experienced Chartered Accountants and Advocates with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in tax litigation/advisory. Responsibilities include handling Income Tax and GST litigation matters, drafting legal documents, managing client communications, supporting investigations and audits, supervising junior team members, and contributing to knowledge initiatives.
