FortisAlberta currently has three open positions available: 1. **Regulatory Finance Advisor:** This hybrid role involves shaping the future of regulatory strategy and financial performance. Key responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing revenue requirement models, preparing revenue accruals and forecasts, providing internal reporting, supporting regulatory filings, and assisting with financial forecasts. This position is located in Calgary, and will be moving to Airdrie in 2027. It offers a Monday-Friday schedule, with Mondays and Fridays as work-from-home days. 2. **Transformational Change Advisor (E26-001):** This position, based in Airdrie, focuses on helping organizations navigate change. The role involves executing organizational change management strategies, conducting assessments, collaborating with HR and leaders, and measuring change adoption success. This is a full-time salaried position with a hybrid work model offering the potential to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. The application deadline for this position is February 4th, 2026. 3. **6-month Temp Labourer (U26-011):** This on-site, temporary position in Operations will assist local crews with the construction, operation, and maintenance of the electric distribution system. The role involves assisting Journeymen and Apprentice Power Line Technicians with tasks, learning safety regulations, and operating equipment. This position has an application deadline of February 2, 2026, and offers locations in Spruce Grove, Coaldale, or Red Deer. There are six positions available. Candidates may be required to participate in an evaluation at the Employee Development Centre in Red Deer on March 24 - 26, 2026 and complete four days of training there as well. The Transformational Change Advisor position requires expertise in Change Management, Collaboration, Communication, Coaching, Strategic Planning, Stakeholder Engagement, Risk Assessment, Organizational Development, Project Management, Influencing, Cultural Progress, Engagement, Transformation, Leadership, Confidentiality, and Reporting. The 6-month Temp Labourer role involves the use of Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Problem-Solving, Teamwork, Safety Regulations, Physical Capability, Equipment Operation, Hand Tools, and Customer Service. FortisAlberta offers a variety of work arrangements. The Regulatory Finance Advisor and the Transformational Change Advisor positions are both hybrid roles. The Regulatory Finance Advisor position involves working on Mondays and Fridays from home, while the Transformational Change Advisor also offers the potential to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
