Can Art Aluminum Extrusion is currently hiring for three on-site positions: * **Extruder Operator:** This role involves setting up machinery, running the press according to job orders, monitoring operations, and ensuring product quality. The Extruder Operator will also need to monitor production equipment, report issues, and maintain a safe workspace. The salary range for this position is $22 - $26 CAD. * **Die Handler (General Labourer):** The Die Handler will deliver dies to the presses based on work order sequences, remove dies, and load them into the cleaning cycle. They will also need to separate hollow and feeder dies, process caustic tanks, and sandblast dies. Additional responsibilities include assembling tooling, using the Epics system, and maintaining a safe workspace. The salary range for this position is $22 - $23 CAD. * **Lead Packing Associate:** The Lead Packer is responsible for ensuring good-quality products are packaged according to customer instructions. Responsibilities include inspecting materials, packing in order of priority, checking hardness, confirming weights and counts, recording information, printing tickets, using hand tools, assisting with training, and maintaining a safe workspace. The salary range for this position is $21 - $23 CAD. The Extruder Operator position requires experience with machine operation. The Die Handler position requires the use of the Epics system. The Lead Packing Associate position requires the use of hand tools. All three listed positions are on-site at the Can Art Aluminum Extrusion plant in Brampton. All positions offer continental and rotational shifts and the potential for overtime.
