BEVERLY KNITS INC. currently has three open positions available at Plant 5 in Gastonia, NC 28052. **1. Material Handler:** Two Material Handler positions are available. Both positions involve supporting the overall operations by moving fabric pieces, loading and unloading, and moving them to inspection or warehouse. One Material Handler position is for the 1st Shift with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Responsibilities include ensuring proper material handling, maintaining clean and organized work areas, adhering to break schedules, moving rolls, and refilling carts. Candidates must be able to read and write in English, understand instructions, and communicate effectively. They must also comply with safety, quality, and production requirements. **2. Production Team Member:** The Production Team Member position, working a 2nd shift, assists in the production and manufacturing process. Responsibilities include keeping the production area clean, preparing machinery and equipment, handling and creeling of material, and strictly following health and safety guidelines. The role includes duties similar to a creeler, setting up and operating creeling equipment. Machine operators must be technically inclined and be able to properly utilize tools and machinery. Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED, experience in a factory, experience operating manufacturing machinery, teamwork skills, good communication skills, basic math skills, physical dexterity, and availability for shift work.
