The Veterinary Technician - Anesthesia will assist other departments, create and discuss medical plans with clients, perform client discharges, assess pain, and understand multimodal pain control. They will also perform mathematical calculations, understand veterinary drugs and diseases, maintain the specialty department, assist with surgical procedures and diagnostics, demonstrate animal restraint, communicate with clients, and schedule appointments. Current certification, license, or registration as a Veterinary Technician is a plus. **Technician Assistant - ECC & Procedures Float:** This full-time, on-site position in Oakdale, MN, offers a salary range of $18.00 - $22.00 per hour and requires overnight shifts. The ECC Technician Assistant will assist veterinary technicians with treatments and procedures, demonstrate an understanding of restraint, patient vitals, medications, and procedures. They will also assist with diagnostics, maintain patient wellbeing and cleanliness, stock and refill nurse stations, and participate in CPR when warranted. Full-time team members are required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. Current student or recent graduate of a veterinary technician program is preferred. Two years of experience working in veterinary practice and two years of experience working in client service is required.
