Software Engineer - Product

Avoca is seeking a product-minded, full-stack engineer to ship features end-to-end across its AI platform for home services. You will work directly with founders and customer-facing teams to build real-time voice AI, outbound engagement, and dispatch tools that immediately impact revenue for thousands of technicians and operators. This is a high-ownership role on a rapidly scaling team where core systems are still being built and every release drives measurable customer value.

What youll do

• Own features end-to-end from design and build through launch, measurement, and iteration.
• Build real-time AI-driven user experiences, backend services, and data workflows.
• Turn direct customer feedback into rapid, measurable product improvements.
• Partner closely with Product, Customer Success, Forward-Deployed Engineers, and GTM teams.
• Uphold a high bar for testing, reliability, and operational excellence.
• Navigate ambiguous requirements and ruthlessly prioritize work by customer impact.
• Contribute to a fast-moving engineering culture with broad surface area to own.

What Avoca is looking for

• Full-stack generalist experience shipping products across frontend, backend, and data layers.
• Track record of building in high-ownership, high-velocity environments with direct revenue impact.
• Experience with AI-driven applications, real-time systems, or voice technology platforms.
• Ability to deconstruct ambiguous requirements and prioritize for maximum operational impact.
• Strong cross-functional instincts and comfort partnering with product, go-to-market, and customer success teams.
