As a Software Engineer, you will own and lead engineering projects across the company’s software offerings, collaborating closely with operations, go-to-market, and deployed services teams in the New York office. What youll do
- Design and implement enterprise-level application interfaces.
- Develop complex, performant agentic workflows.
- Architect full-stack infrastructure for high-performance applications.
- Retrieve information across large corpora of unstructured enterprise data.
- Evaluate LLMs across various application-layer use cases.
What Auctor (YC X25) is looking for
- 0–9 years of professional software engineering experience; open to early-career through senior candidates.
- Strong programming skills and CS fundamentals; proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with Next.js experience preferred.
- Deep familiarity with production data stores such as Postgres, Redis, and NoSQL/vector databases.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into production, including prompt engineering, model orchestration frameworks, and vector/embedding stores.
- Proven ability to ship full-stack features end-to-end, optimize for low-latency performance, and make sound architectural tradeoffs.
- Experience deploying and maintaining services with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and building scalable enterprise APIs.
- Strong engineering quality practices including testing, code reviews, observability, and incident response.
- Understanding of security, data privacy, and compliance considerations relevant to enterprise AI integrations.
- Strong builder mindset demonstrated through shipped projects, active GitHub contributions, or hackathon wins; no formal degree required.
- Comfortable working full-time in the New York office and eligible to work in the United States.
