You will work directly with the founders, own critical systems, and shape the product direction as the company continues its steep growth trajectory.
What youll do
- Architect and lead the migration of the frontend to real-time, data-heavy dashboards using TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS.
- Build human-in-the-loop AI interfaces that make automated outputs transparent and manageable for operations teams.
- Own the full product lifecycle from technical discovery to production monitoring, shipping quickly without sacrificing reliability.
- Define the technical vision, mentor new hires, and foster an elite engineering culture.
- Solve global-trade edge cases to maintain high uptime while handling unpredictable, real-world document inputs.
- Collaborate directly with founders on product direction and the technical roadmap.
What Amari AI is looking for
- 6–8+ years of professional software engineering experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- Deep proficiency in TypeScript and React, with proven ability to architect complex state management for data-intensive applications.
- Strong command of Python for backend services and advanced SQL expertise with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
- Demonstrated startup experience shipping product in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with a strong bias for action.
- A self-starter mentality with end-to-end ownership of outcomes and comfort driving cross-functional delivery.
- Strong CS fundamentals with a track record of technical excellence over specific institutional backgrounds.
- Ability to work in-person in San Francisco; H1B transfer and OPT candidates are welcome, though new sponsorship is unavailable.
