Oversee ship repair, overhaul, and maintenance projects from initiation to closeout, serving as the primary contact for stakeholders and the U.S. Navy. Manage project schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality delivery and safety compliance.
Requires at least 5 years of project management experience in the maritime industry, with 3 years specifically managing U.S. Navy vessel repairs. Proficiency in project management tools and knowledge of NAVSEA standards are essential.
Position Summary
The Project Manager (Ship Repair) serves as the primary point of contact for assigned ship repair projects, overseeing all aspects from planning and execution to delivery and closeout. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure contract compliance, control costs, and meet schedule commitments, all while maintaining high-quality standards and safety compliance within a dynamic shipyard environment.
