Assistant Manager – Restaurant

ROL Hand Roll Bar is hiring an Assistant Manager for our new location in La Habra. We are looking for a motivated, hands-on leader who is passionate about hospitality, team development, and creating a strong guest experience.

The Assistant Manager will support daily restaurant operations, assist with staff supervision, maintain service standards, and help ensure the restaurant runs smoothly during each shift. This role is ideal for someone with restaurant leadership experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Position: Assistant Manager
Location: ROL Hand Roll Bar – La Habra, CA
Pay: Salary range of $72,000–$75,000 per year
Interview Type: In-person interviews

Responsibilities include:

• Support the General Manager with daily restaurant operations
• Lead and supervise team members during service
• Ensure excellent guest service and hospitality standards
• Assist with training, coaching, and developing employees
• Help maintain food safety, cleanliness, and restaurant standards
• Support scheduling, shift planning, and communication with the team
• Address guest concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Help create a positive and productive work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and guest satisfaction
