Summary

The Crisis Program Manager provides leadership, supervision, and operational oversight for the Crisis Program. This role manages staff, resources, and program compliance to ensure high-quality services for youth and families, effective crisis response, and successful program outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities

Leadership, Supervision & Program Management

  • Exercises independent judgment in addressing operational, clinical, and staffing challenges.
  • Leads hiring, onboarding evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions and terminations in collaboration with Crisis Program management.
  • Supports in supervising staff in training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and direction to staff to ensure accountability and professional growth.

Compliance, Quality Assurance & Outcomes

  • Ensures program compliance with applicable regulatory and accreditation standards, including OHMHAS, ADAMH, COA, Medicaid, and grant requirements.
  • Oversees quality assurance processes, evaluates program performance, and implements improvements as needed.
  • Reviews clinical and operational documentation to ensure compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Complete all medication disposal within established time frames.

Clinical & Operational Oversight

  • Provides leadership-level guidance and consultation regarding crisis response and youth interventions.
  • Ensures required program activities (intake, assessment, documentation, discharge planning) are completed to support compliance and revenue generation.
  • Maintains oversight of confidentiality, documentation standards, and productivity benchmarks.

Organizational Leadership

  • Leads regular staff and leadership meetings to advance program goals.
  • Participates in agency on-call rotation as a management representative.
  • Serves on and/or chairs assigned agency committees.
  • Participates in monthly leadership meetings and contributes to agency-wide planning and decision-making.
  • Performs other duties consistent with the scope and level of this management position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Competencies

  • Demonstrated leadership and management capability in crisis or behavioral health settings.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in complex and high-risk situations.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead diverse teams
  • Ability to demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.

Qualifications
