The Role
As a VDC Engineer, you help bring projects to life before construction begins. You’ll turn complex models into clear insights—identifying risks early, improving coordination, and helping teams build with confidence.
You’ll spend most of your time supporting active project coordination while also helping evolve how we use VDC technology across Granger.
What You’ll Do
Create, manage, and coordinate BIM models across all project phases
Perform clash detection and help resolve conflicts across building systems
Develop model-based drawings, schedules, and quantity takeoffs
Translate design concepts into constructible solutions
Collaborate with project teams, designers, and trade partners
Support coordination meetings, constructability reviews, and virtual mock-ups
Troubleshoot modeling challenges and recommend practical solutions
Help drive adoption of VDC tools like BIM, AR/VR, and point cloud technologies
