Operate public transit vehicles safely and reliably across designated communities while adhering to all traffic laws and KDOT regulations. Perform pre-departure vehicle inspections and utilize tablet software to track rider and vehicle information.
Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma and a valid CDL (Class A, B, or C) with a Passenger Endorsement. Candidates must pass a background check, drug screen, and maintain a KDOT physical certification.

The job is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to ongoing random drug and alcohol screening. The job requires working in all weather conditions, sitting in an enclosed vehicle for long periods, exposure to disease/infections, dealing with temperamental people, and working with contaminants (e.g., gases and odors).
